Barn Update

This monstrosity is getting rebuilt, one sheet of galvanized steel at a time.

We bought this barn (and the property it sits on) with one goal in mind: to prevent anyone else from buying it. We didn't move to the middle of nowhere to have more neighbors! With 2000 sf (that's 186m^2 for the rest of the world) of space, everyone has pitched their ideas of what to do with it:

• Heather wanted a creative studio;

• I want to move my woodshop there and have space for another car;

• Dave wants to weld there;

• Dan wants a party space;

• Matt wants to build an electric car;

• Todd may keep a bike here.

Before anyone can do anything with the space, there are a few important items on the to-do list:

• roof & walls

• insulation

• electricity

• lighting

• roll up door

• gutters

• loft

Photo updates will be posted ...as quickly as I can get pics taken. As of right now, the plan is to host the barnwarming (and dedication) either the weekend of 11/12/22 or 11/19/22.
